Role Description

The CA article assistant will support audit, accounting, and tax assignments under the supervision of senior team members in a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.

• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Assist with statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Help ensure compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations.
• Maintain books of accounts and work on income tax, GST, and other returns.
• Support documentation and working papers for audits and assessments.
• Liaise with clients for data collection and clarifications.
• Assist in drafting reports and help with ROC and other regulatory filings as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered CA student (IPCC/Intermediate cleared as per ICAI requirements) or eligible candidate for articleship.
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping.
• Basic understanding of Indian taxation (direct and indirect), GST concepts, and audit procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and comfort with accounting/tax software; willingness to learn new tools.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with numerical data accurately.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work responsibly under supervision and deadlines.
• Professional attitude, ethical conduct, and willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Prior internship or practical exposure in accounting or taxation is an advantage but not mandatory.
